420 PEOPLE: CONTEMPORARY MODERN DANCE COMPANY 2022, 2023, 2024

420PEOPLE is a contemporary modern dance company, established on the Czech and international scene. It is headed by the renowned choreographer Václav Kuneš, who together with Natasha Novotna founded the company after returning from a stint with one of the world's most prestigious dance companies - Jiří Kylián's Nederlands Dans Theater. Václav Kuneš invited important personalities of contemporary dance to Prague to collaborate with 420PEOPLE and in turn the company has presented itself to audiences all over the world. Recent successful projects include, for example, the acrobatic musical Heaven, in which 420PEOPLE joined forces with, among others, the new circus ensemble Losers Cirque Company. Other premieres have also been well received: the production Ever, a reflection on evil in interpersonal relationships Why things go wrong and the intergenerational dance dialogue Wheree.
