The XTOPIX architectural studio was founded in 2011 by Pavel and Barbora Buryšek. They work on smaller architecture projects as well as architecture for entire parts of cities. For example, it participates in the long-term architectural transformation of the West Bohemian village called Planá. The realization of the local multicultural center Kinonekino brought the studio a nomination for the Mission van der Rohe Prize, awarded by the European Union for contemporary architecture, as well as one of the awards in the Czech Prize for Architecture. XTOPIX also realizes its inventions in the area of the capital where it is based. It has helped to revitalize the housing estate in Černý Most, or to change the look of Mariánské náměstí. In addition to architecture and urbanism, it is also interested in graphics, design and field theory. PIARISTI provided media relations and copywriter services for XTPOPIX.
