HAPPILY EVER AFTER: DOCUMENTARY 2023

With the documentary Happily Ever After, director Jana Počtová returned to the topic of relationships for the third time. She followed five stories of people who decided to seek their happiness in other partnerships than the usual one. In the film, she mapped out the different forms of love and partnerships in the twenty-first century: polyamory, open relationships, love via the internet or a long-term relationship with a committed partner. Through them, the documentary filmmaker asks whether the forms of love are not in fact more diverse than those that society accepts as the norm.
