The short film Reconstruction, which combines elements of documentary and fiction, is based on the real case of the brutal murder of a homeless person, committed by a pair of Czech teenagers and a subsequent investigation. The film by Ondřej Novák and Jiří Havlíček, and producer Dagmar Sedláčková had a world premiere at the International Film Festival in Locarno, Switzerland, in August 2018, where it was the first representation of Czech cinematography after a long 17 years.
