The new literary-visual documentary film called “Kniha 20,000” shows portraits of 20 places in 20 cities in the Czech Republic with a population of not more than 20,000 people and supported by 20 leading architectural studios. It is also the second book by Michaela Hečková, the author of the book “O městech a lidech”. She worked on the new book together with Matěj Chabera, a graphic designer and holder of the Czech Grand Design award in the category of graphic designer of the year 2017. The result is an alternative guide to contemporary Czech architecture.
PIARISTI has implemented media relations for this project.
"PIARISTI were a great asset to us. At the beginning, we set up a media plan together, completed a press release, and approached a list of journalists with our project. Nikola and Helena secured not only great media interest, but also organised a completely smooth communication process, interview negotiations, shooting, and the whole agenda, which the publisher often has to devote time to in-house. A book on contemporary architecture, which we assumed would only have the interest of a minority audience, sold very well. People learned about the book from the media and, above all, thanks to the independence, helpfulness and resourcefulness of PIARISTI, our hands were free to focus on other production tasks, which was invaluable."
