The aim of the exhibition held in the autumn of 2019 was to present contemporary artwork and the more than fifty-year tradition of the Bechyně Symposium. To show ceramics in a different light, not as a material for applied art, but as free, artistic sculpture. The exhibition presented the work of 6 artists from the Czech Republic and abroad who participated in the symposium last year. It placed them in the context of the most interesting works created at the Bechyně Symposiums in the course of the 1960s to 1980s and focused on the same themes as contemporary sculpture.
